Melissa graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 2007, she is experienced in treating adults with IV or inhalation sedation and children with inhalation sedation. She passed her Diploma in Conscious Sedation for Dentistry in 2011. Since then she has also mentored a number of dentists in conscious sedation and set up and run a NEBDN sedation nursing course. We are delighted to accept:

1) NHS and Private referrals – if patient is registered on NHS in their own practice we will see them on the NHS but if registered privately then we would expect the patient to be seen privately at our referral centre.

2) Non-surgical periodontal treatment.

3) Routine restorative dentistry – amalgam and composite fillings.

4) Simple extractions

5) Surgical extraction of teeth

5) Endodontic treatment of incisor, canine and premolar teeth.

We are unable to accept:

Severely medically compromised patients.
Referrals with no treatment plan.
Multiple teeth for endodontic treatment, endodontic re-treatment and molar endodontics.
Tooth wear under IV sedation.
Crown and bridgework.
