Gagan is one of the associates and radiation protection supervisors at Earl Grey Dental Practice. She qualified at Himachal Pradesh University in India in 2002 obtaining a BDS. In 2010 Gagan passed the overseas registration exam (ORE) which allowed her to practice dentistry in the UK and to register with the General Dental Council.

In 2012, Gagan obtained the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

In 2022, Gagan completed the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry (DipRes) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. This qualification took over 2 years and included compiling a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating advanced skills in restorative dentistry.
